It’s Kris ALLENation!

I had to put off  the book I was reading to watch the season finale of American Idol. I couldn’t be more thrilled that Kris Allen won. I must say the competition was tough. Judging from each of their performances, both Kris and Adam did exceptionally well, I had to re-think many times over who I was going to give my final vote to. T’was hard though but I stuck with Kris.  I think he deserves to be the winner and I’m sure his star is going to shine even brighter with his career.

Adam Lambert was great too. In fact, he rocked. But even if he may have lost to Kris, that doesn’t mean it’s the end for him. He’s gone through a lot and has made it and I’m certain he has an even longer way to go. I just hope those who weren’t pleased with the results should do away with the bickering and the ill comments. Well-meaning people know better that the competition is not all about sexual orientation, religion, race or what have you. It’s about talent and it aims to bring people together – to sing one song, if you know what I mean. Besides, both Kris and Adam already are  gems in their own right.

Now that AI ends, I can now catch up with my book reading. I sure don’t want to end up with a pile of published books that I might all have yet to read.
