ABOUT THIS BLOG

Even “the palest ink is better than the sharpest memory.”

books-with-globeLong before I read Confucius, I already heard this from no less than my grandfather – the man who taught me that learning is incomplete without reading and without writing what I understand and what I don’t.

I believed him.  He was right.

I have always loved books since I was just a kid starting to learn how to read.  Printed words simply fascinate me.  They allow me to join the author’s world through my imagination and to take an active part of the story told either as one of the characters or as a critic arguing with the author whenever I disagree with what is written.

Spoken words are easily forgotten, but printed ones are not.

A published book is a lasting legacy.

I am not one of those who are privileged to grow with a collection books in their houses, but I’m privileged enough to accumulate them while growing up.

This blog site is about the book authors that touched my life and influenced the way I look at things, the significant books I’ve read and my journey to the world of publishing.

Please click on my posts to know my thoughts and my experiences with the books and book authors I read.  You may also take a look at my library by checking my bookshelf.
